A 1989 graduate of Eden Theological Seminary and an ordained minister in the United Church of Christ, Carol brings a passion for the Gospel and a love for God's people to her call to parish ministry. Before coming to St. Lucas, Carol served as pastor and teacher in three other St. Louis area congregations. Her focus of ministry at St. Lucas UCC centers in pastoral care, primarily through the organized Caring Ministries of St. Lucas and in welcoming hospitality through Evangelism and Membership Care. Carol has served in many leadership positions in the Missouri Mid-South Conference of the UCC, including Conference Moderator. She has also served on the Boards of Directors for Emmaus Homes, Inc. and Lydia's House. She is supported in her ministry by husband, Duane, their three grown children and families, including six grandchildren, ages 3 to 16 years and by her mother, a vibrant 90 year old. St. Lucas is blessed to have Carol on our staff, as well as to serve our congregants!

Reverend Eric Moeller

Associate Minister for Education and Mission

Click here to email Pastor Eric

Eric joined St. Lucas UCC as the Associate Minister for Education and Mission on April 24, 2017. He comes to us deeply rooted in the UCC as the son of a UCC pastor and Christian educator, and brother to a UCC pastor. Over the past 10 years he has been active on association committees and as a delegate of the Missouri Mid-South Conference to two General Synods. After 6 years of working at Camp MoVal in a variety of capacities, intermingled with recording, performing, and touring as a rock ‘n’ roll musician, Eric entered Eden Theological Seminary in 2012, graduating with his Masters of Divinity in May of 2016.

While in seminary, Eric worked for justice and mission organizations and served as the licensed student pastor of Catawissa Union Church in Catawissa, Missouri for over 2 years. Additionally, he began his own music and mission venture, the All-In Music Project. This venture combines Eric’s gifts and passion for music and mission by using music to inspire active solidarity with marginalized people, build community, and educate and mobilize for social transformation

Currently, Eric is thrilled to be able to contribute his varied gifts to our community as we continue to follow God’s calling to be a missional church participating in God’s transformative work in the world. Outside of the church, Eric enjoys spending time with his wife, Jorie, and playing trains and listening to music with his 3-year-old son, Keagan.
